2024 Pikes Peak Hill Climb
Drivers from the South take on Americas Mountain in the 102nd running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

Fan favorite Randy Probst from Gainesville, GA was a last minute relief driver for Robin Shute. Randy's #49 2025 Hyundai Ionic 5 NTA Spec EV (Exhibition Class) finished in 8th place in the overall with a time of 9:55.551.
Laura Hayes from Greenville, SC ran the mountain in the #22 2022 Toyota Supra GT4 (Pikes Peak GT4 class by Yokahama) finished in 14th place in the overall with a time of 10:20.487.
Freshs off of her Indy 500 run, rookie Katherine Legge from Gainesville, GA completed her next challenge with her run up Pikes Peak. Katherine's #93 2024 Acura Integra (Time Attack 1 Class) finished in 27th place in the overall with a time of 10:51.359.
Kendall Samuel from Hendersonville, NC ran his #197 2000 Subaru GC 8 (Unlimited Class) finished in 39th place in the overall with a time of 11:46.875. The race took a brackdrop to Kendall's wedding to competitor Mary Barker at the peak surrounded by the fellow competitors.

Rookie Mary Barker from Hendersonville, NC ran her #107 2000 Subaru GC 8 (Unlimited Class) finished in 42nd place in the overall with a time of 12:20.556. The race took a brackdrop to Mary's wedding to competitor Kendall Samuel at the peak surrounded by the fellow competitors. Mary had to beat Hodgkin's Lymphoma the past year to celebrate this special day at the peak.
Rookie driver Rick Lind from Aiken, SC ran his #867 1967 Chevy C-10 (Pikes Peak Open Class) to a 44th place in the overall with a time of 12:31.257.
Rookie Chris Johnson from St. Augustine, FL drove his #132 1992 Nissan Skyline GTR (Unlimited Class) to a 47th place overall finish with a time of 15:45.707.
Sean Bassett from Mt. Dora, FL drove the #269 1972 Datsun 240Z (Unlimited Class) to a 48th place finish in the overall due to a DNF. Shawn said the car was running a sub 10:30 pace until Devils Playground where the car subcomed to mechanical issues. Shawn qualified in the fast 15 and looked good all week in practice.
Rookie Ryan Cheek from Black Mountain, NC drove her #83 2021 American X Kart Cross Cart (Open Wheel Class) finished in 50th place due to a DNF.
